The LNCMI-T in brief
The Laboratoire National des Champs Magnétiques Intenses of Toulouse (LNCMI-T, for the French National High Magnetic Field National of Toulouse) is a host laboratory for experiments in pulsed magnetic fields. In addition to the technical developments and internal research carried out in the lab, experiment time is allocated to external researchers, after submission of an experiment proposal, by an international selection committee.
The mission and general orientation of the research at the LNCMI are:
- the development of technology and science in high magnetic field
- opening its access to the non-french scientific community via access contracts or specific collaboration contracts
- making european partnerships with other facilities to optimize the development of high field technologies and their use for the european scientific community.
