A researcher from the LNCMI awarded with the Prize Louis Ancel of the SFP

The prize ’Louis Ancel’ is attributed each year to a physicist working on condensed matter. The prize was attributed in 2011 to Cyril Proust in particular for his discovery of quantum oscillations at high magnetic fields in high-temperature supraconductors, an effect that the scientific community had been searching for over 20 years, and which was published in Nature in 2007. Since then, this publication has accumulated over 300 citations.
