Supra2011: Superconductivity is 100 years young!

On April 8, 2011, many institutions (CNRS, Universities, CEA, CERN ...) have launched Supra2011 to celebrate the discovery of superconductivity 100 years ago. Many events will take place in 2011 throughout France. A group of regional scientists from Toulouse will propose animations and spectacular experiments, exhibitions, meetings with researchers, lectures and poster session ...

Two websites have been developed for this occasion: www.supra2011.fr where all upcoming events are listed and www.superconductivity.eu where you will discover the most fascinating and surprising phenomenon such as levitation or supercurrents through simple experiments and explanations, games, interactive animations, videos ...
